I’m Quinn, a multi-passionate, mountain & wilderness loving aspiring writer inspired by nutritious, ethical food, wandering, and authentic human connection. I’m small-towner, trying not to get so lost in real life that I forget to make room for the unimaginable & improbable. My blog will exhibit themes of spirituality, resistance, travel, adventure, activism, food studies and ecofeminism in a personal narrative format laced with a tongue-and-cheek humor and occasional seriousness. I hope to bring you lifestyle-based creative non-fiction intermingling with potentially useful (or useless) information!
I am currently a student of The New School, pursuing a BA in Food Studies with a concentration in food policy & politics. Additionally, I am a Wilderness EMT, a certified yoga teacher, a gardener, a holder of a Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate and another in Permaculture Design and Theory. I hold an associates Degree in Liberal Arts because I was too distracted by courses about dinosaurs, rock climbing and photography to hone in on anything in particular at the time. Hence the very multi-faceted nature of this blog!
